Microbiotix Sp. z o.o.
Microbiotix is a Polish company with extensive experience in creating biological preparations based on microorganisms. The founders of the company were former employees of leading companies in the agricultural industry as well as farmers.
Years of experience have allowed the extraction of highly effective microorganisms from Polish agricultural ecosystems and the creation of completely harmless preparations without withholding periods. These preparations are not plant protection products but pure bacterial preparations.
Projects aimed at improving soil fertility, stimulating plant immunity, and preventing fungal and bacterial diseases have been successful, including serious ones like Sclerotinia, Botrytis, powdery mildews, Fusarium and many others. Our bacteria quickly colonise the soil and plant surfaces, leaving no room for the development of pathogens. Microbiotix is also a producer of a supplementary feed mixture acting as a pro and prebiotic for livestock, especially for cattle, pigs and poultry. The slogan “Small, Big World of Microorganisms” reflects the wonders of nature.
Microbiotix values science, hence the collaboration with a Polish biotechnological company. Its employees come from different scientific centres, such as the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Silesian University of Technology and Poznan University of Life Sciences.
Passionate researchers from these scientific centres lead the research on the technology of obtaining starter formulas. Modern bioreactors allow the isolation of pure and stable lines of microorganisms originating from the natural environment. The technology is based on the use of microorganisms from the genera Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Lactocaseibacillus, Rhodococcus, Rhodopseudomonas, Pseudomonas Bacillus and Saccharomyces yeast. For example, Entherococcus strains that produce specific peptides serve as an alternative to antibiotics and work well as probiotics in animal nutrition.
Bifidobakterium, Lactobacillus, and Bacillus bacteria have outstanding properties for breaking down long carbon chains, effectively decomposing crop residues, contributing to increased soil fertility, and saving on nitrogen and phosphorus fertilisation. Rhodococcus, with its phytosanitary abilities, together with photosynthetic bacteria and lactic acid bacteria, creates a great synergy to stimulate the natural immunity of plants. Rhodococcus secretions limit the leaching of heavy metals into the soil solution, thereby reducing their accumulation in plants.
The Microbiotix word and graphic trademark, as well as all bacterial mixtures Complex, Prevent, and Pre+Probiotic, are protected by patent.

- Continuous improvement of advisory and sales services to meet the requirements of our customers.
- Enhancing the well-being of farm animals, promoting technologies in animal nutrition that reduce the use of antibiotics in animal husbandry.
- Promoting circular economy practices in crop cultivation and animal husbandry.
- Compliance and correlation with agricultural strategies, such as the “Green Deal” and “From Farm to Table.”
WHO WE ARE
Krzysztof Bryll
President of the Management Board
Former Vice President and Commercial Director at Lafarge. At Microbiotix, he handles operational commercial matters.
Wiesław Dąbek
Vice-President of the Management Board
Associated with Bonduelle Polska S.A. for over 23 years. Held managerial positions, including Director of Agro Bonduelle Polska. Led projects in Ukraine for five consecutive seasons. Towards the end of his career in the French corporation, he developed the sector of organic vegetables, industrial sales, and logistics.
Radosław Konrad
Production Manager
Radek is a young farmer, managing a farm of over 500 hectares.
At Microbiotix, he is responsible for production and warehouse logistics. On his farm, he uses biological preparations and microorganisms. As one of the first, he successfully implemented a soil fertility restoration programme on his farm. This results in high and profitable yields of wheat, rapeseed, maize, triticale and beet on class IVb, V soils.
Safety and Quality Assurance
All strains used in Microbiotix products have been isolated from the natural environment. Their cultivation is based on an internal bank of microorganisms according to a unique recipe for each preparation. Starter formulas for bacterial preparations are developed at the Sansevera biotechnological company, in a unique and proprietary facility. Bioreactors are designed to meet the needs to produce high-quality bacterial preparations.
In the reproduction process, 13 different types of microorganisms are used, which are natural isolates and not genetically modified.
In the second stage, at Microbiotix, the starter formula undergoes a fermentation process in automatic biofermenters produced in Germany, under strict control of pasteurisation temperature, pH, time and reproduction process temperature.
The engineering team is currently working on domestically designed biofermenters with an automatic filling, emptying and washing system in a closed circuit.
All strains used in Microbiotix technology belong to risk group 1 according to Directive 2000/54/EC and the Workers Protection Act paragraph 40, hence they pose no threat to humans, higher animals, beneficial insects and the natural environment.
Sugar cane molasses, used as a fermentation medium, is made from the highest quality product meeting feed quality standards and approved as an independent feed no. 8.04.02 according to the positive list. The Microbiotix molasses composition contains various sugars and trace elements required for the highest quality fermentation process.
Microbiotix Complex additionally has an environmental and toxicological certificate issued by the National Institute of Public Health (Polish National Institute of Hygiene). Microbiotix has implemented GMP and HACCP quality systems.
Bacteria in Microbiotix preparations have GRAS safety status (international safety level).
Quality control is carried out in the Sansevera and Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation laboratories. Each production batch of concentrate is tested according to the product specification and monitored using the Maldi-tof method.
